True North Transitions — Guidance. Hope. A Fresh Start.
Volunteer

Volunteer with True North Transitions.

There's room for almost any gift — mentorship, meals, hospitality, administration, prayer, or quiet behind-the-scenes support.

The Approach

Use your time and gifts to make a difference.

We try hard to match volunteers to roles that fit their schedule, season of life, and strengths. Some people show up weekly; others give a few hours a month. There's no wrong way to start.

Ways to Serve

Four ways to step in.

Pillar 01

Mentorship

Walk alongside one participant for a season — a steady, consistent presence in their week.

Pillar 02

Community dinners & events

Cook, host, set up, or simply show up. Hospitality is one of our most needed gifts.

Pillar 03

Skills-based volunteering

Résumé coaching, financial literacy, employment prep, design, or operations help.

Pillar 04

Prayer & encouragement

Quiet, faithful support behind the scenes — we believe this matters as much as the visible work.

Who Fits

Who makes a good volunteer.

01

People with steady recovery (typically 2+ years) for mentorship roles

02

Anyone willing to show up consistently

03

Hospitable hosts, organizers, and helpers

04

People comfortable with confidentiality and boundaries
